A Program for Relative Caregivers
What is it?
G.R.A.S.P. provides respite (a break, time off) to relatives who are full time caregivers to kin children. This could mean spending quality time at an event with the kids, activities for children leaving you with free time for yourself, or activities just for you, such as a massage or night out at the theater.
Who qualifies?
This program benefits relative (kin) caregivers who are. . .
low or limited income
custodial (raising children in their own homes)
living in south central Connecticut
