 Tami Sullivan was selected to attend a “Protect All Women” roundtable on 10/16/14 with Former Arizona congresswoman Gabby Giffords, who was seriously injured in a 2011 shooting rampage. Dr. Sullivan was joined by U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, as well as more than a dozen legislators and leaders in the fields of domestic violence and law enforcement. Giffords is a co-founder of Americans for Responsible Solutions, which seeks to reduce gun violence and increase “sensible" gun control legislation. - Award for Individual Excellence presented to Erik Clemons, CEO & President of Connecticut Center for Arts and Technology, in recognition of his dedication to post-secondary career training and development for New Haven’s youth and adults
- Award for Organizational Excellence presented to New Haven Family Alliance and its Executive Director, Barbara Tinney, MSW, in recognition of the vision and leadership of New Haven Family Alliance to foster family well-being so that New Haven children grow up in healthy families and a strong community
