Technical Assistance
YDTRC offers youth-serving organizations and local youth networks in Connecticut a wide range of technical assistance, support services, and other resources. In addition to our ongoing training opportunities and group workshops for frontline youth workers and supervisors, YDTRC is available to consult with on an individual basis. We can assist you directly or help you find the resources you need to be as successful as possible in your work with young people.
Technical Assistance Networks
YDTRC, through its mission as part of the national B.E.S.T.
Initiative, consults with youth-serving organizations throughout
Connecticut. Our goal is to assist youth-serving
organizations in implementing the youth development
framework through a carefully facilitated process of agency
self-assessment, action planning, staff training and
structured interagency network sessions with key resource
people. A series of tools and resource materials are
available. YDTRC
staff can also help you link to local networks in your area. If you are interested in learning more or becoming a
part of the Technical Assistance Network, call Deborah
Stewart at (203) 789-7645.
