Student Internships at YDTRC
If you (or someone you know) is a high school student in New Haven and is interested in gaining valuable work experience, consider a student internship at YDTRC at The Consultation Center! Each school year and summer, YDTRC hires a few students to work alongside our staff. Duties include newsletter production, preparation of training materials and program development, and action planning.
School Year Internships:
During the school year, we hire 1-2
student interns from New Haven High Schools to work 10
hours/week through the School-to-Career Program. For

Summer Internships:
During the summer,
YDTRC hires 1-2 interns to work 20-25 hours/week, through Youth@Work.
Youth@Work places 1,200 teens from New Haven High
Schools in a variety of businesses, not only to help them
earn money but also to help them gain workplace experience.
Teens who participate in Youth@Work also learn resume
writing, workplace etiquette, and interviewing skills. To intern at YDTRC during the summer, please
