Meet the YDTRC Staff
Deborah S. Stewart, Director, Youth Development Training and Resource Center, New Haven, CT. Deborah oversees the various components of YDTRC's work in New Haven and statewide. She has been a youth advocate for over 30 years at the local, state, and national level. She guides the Connecticut for Community Youth Development project, and the New Haven B.E.S.T. Initiative, which both support the professional development of youth workers and youth leaders.
Terry Freeman, LCSW, Director of Adolescent Programs at The Consultation Center, has more than 30 years experience in education and social work. She has provided training, consultation, and mental health services to employees and managers. Her special interests include work place issues and organizational change, prevention programming for youth, staff development, training, and work with groups. Terry facilitates the Supervising and Managing in Youth Serving Organizations course.
Janis Celone, Administrative Assistant, provides administrative support for the Adolescent Area at The Consultation Center. She handles registrations for the Supervising and Managing in Youth-Serving Organizations course and maintains the YDTRC database.
